Operation Gratitude

In Operation Gratitude, members of our congregation express their thankfulness to the service men and women of our country.  We knit or crochet scarves and send them to our troops in Afghanistan.  We pray over the scarves before sending them on their way.  We want our troops to feel wrapped in God’s love as they serve us overseas.  This fall, we will be distributing yarn to all who feel called to this wonderful ministry.

Prayer Shawls

In the Prayer Shawl ministry, we crochet shawls for people with debilitating illnesses.  We pray over the shawls before they are distributed to patients.  We want these people who are suffering to know that they are not forgotten, and that they are wrapped in the prayers of our church community.  If you would like to offer your personal prayers and comfort through this ministry, please contact the church office.
