Mission Lutheran Church offers many opportunities for church members to contribute to key aspects of church life.  Various committees work on finances, personnel issues, stewardship, communications, fellowship and missions.  The committees receive directions from the Council and report periodically to Council.  All of the committees meet regularly to complete their work.  If you want to be more actively involved in helping the church and you would like to volunteer for a committee, please contact the committee chairperson.

Stewardship Committee

This committee consults with the Senior Pastor, and helps form strategies for the annual stewardship campaign.  It helps promote generosity in the congregation as we carry out our mission.

Fellowship Committee

This committee plans, organizes, and carries out many seasonal and annual church events. Most of the events listed as part of the family ministries are undertaken by the Fellowship Committee. If you have a heart for hospitality, a flair with food, or a desire to decorate, this could be for you!

Finance Ministry

This committee oversees the financial operations of the church.  They develop policies that safeguard church financial resources and promote transparency in all financial matters.  They also develop the annual church budget presented at the January Congregational Meeting.

Personnel Committee

This committee oversees human resource issues for the church and Mission Lutheran School.

Communications Team

This team coordinates communications to the church members as well as to our local community.  It works with the Communications Coordinator to maintain current, accurate information on the website and all social media.  The team seeks ways to enhance connections within our congregation and throughout our community.
