Habitat for Humanity of Orange County

groupMLC, Lutheran Partnership, Habitat for Humanity OC and Thrivent Builds, will build two homes in 2009

Around the world, churches and faith communities are active partners in Habitat for Humanity’s work whose goal is to eliminate sub-standard housing for hard-working low income families.

Locally, Mission Lutheran Church will positively impact the lives of two Orange County families in 2009 by helping to finance and build one home in San Juan Capistrano and another in Westminster.

Build Dates.  San Juan Capistrano, Thursday, September 24, and Westminster, Saturday, October 17.  Other dates in cooperation with other organizations or churches pending.

Fundraising:  MLC’s goal is to raise $7,000 to do our financial part in the construction of these two homes.  We ask for your prays for guidance with fund raising ideas.

Prayer:  The motivation for this ministry is MLC’s Mission Statement “Changing Lives Through Jesus Christ.”  We ask the Lord Jesus Christ to guide Habitat for Humanity in its quest to provide housing for families that do not have adequate resources to help themselves.
