Mission Lutheran Church has donated more than 1100 free wheelchairs. That is 1100 lives changed in 8 years to now have freedom for basic needs such as being able independently getting meals.

Kidworks
Mission Lutheran Church of Laguna Niguel Gives Grant to KidWorks
Mission Lutheran Church has changed lives in Santa Ana through the KidWorks community programs. KidWorks is a non-profit agency designed to empower children and their families in Santa Ana, the hardest place in America to survive. Levels of crime, poverty, unemployment, lack of public transportation and health conditions make Santa Ana a hard place to grow up.
Funds from the Mission Within Reach appeal have helped to support the hiring of a program leader at KidWorks’ newest learning center, KidWorks Bishop Manor. Norma, the new program leader works part-time and is a much needed female presence for the children at KidWorks Bishop Manor.
KidWorks Bishop Manor opened in October 2011 and since then has enrolled 50 students, ages 5-17, in their University Starts Now: After School program. You have helped changes the lives of children and their families by bringing them into a program of educational and family support.
